SUMMIT is an early-access platform. It does not execute investments, accept money or arrange transactions. Registering interest is non-binding. Nothing on SUMMIT is investment advice or a recommendation to buy, sell or raise.

Key risks of private-market investing

• Loss of capital. Many private businesses, especially early-stage ones, fail. You could lose all of the money you invest.
• Illiquidity. Private shares usually can’t be sold easily. You may be unable to exit for many years, or at all.
• Dilution. Future funding rounds can reduce your percentage ownership.
• Rare or no dividends. Many private companies don’t pay dividends.
• Limited information. Private companies disclose less than listed ones, and reported figures may not be audited.
• Valuation uncertainty. Private-company valuations aren’t set by a public market. On SUMMIT, valuations change only through verified events such as priced rounds, verified secondary transactions, independent valuations or exits. Unrealised valuation changes are not returns.
• Secondary transfers. Selling or buying existing shares can be subject to company approvals, transfer restrictions and rights of first refusal. There is no guaranteed buyer, price or timeline.
• Concentration. Putting a large share of your wealth into a few private businesses increases risk. Only invest what you can afford to lose, and diversify.

For business owners

Creating a profile doesn’t guarantee fundraising, a buyer, a price or a timeline. Selling a stake means taking on a shareholder, with the rights, responsibilities and relationship that involves.

SUMMIT does not claim to hold any regulatory licence. If investment services are offered in future, they’ll be provided only subject to applicable permissions or through authorised partners, with their own disclosures and eligibility checks.
