Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your information while SUMMIT is in early access.
Last updated 5 October 2026
Who we are
SUMMIT Private Markets (“SUMMIT”, “we”, “us”) operates an early-access platform that connects businesses with people interested in backing them. SUMMIT does not currently execute investments or hold money on anyone’s behalf.
What we collect
- Account details: email address, name and sign-in information (including from Google if you choose that option).
- Investor profile details you provide: country, job title, company, indicative cheque size, allocation and areas of interest.
- Business profile details you provide: business information, financial summaries, plans and contact details.
- Secondary seller details you provide: company, relationship, the amount you’d consider selling and contact details.
- Non-binding interest you register in opportunities, and your watchlist.
- Usage information: pages viewed, campaign tags (UTM), referral codes and a random session identifier. For abuse prevention we use a one-way hash of your network address; we do not store the address itself.
How we use it
- To run the platform, your account and the access level you’re eligible for.
- To review business profiles and seller interest, and to contact you about the platform and relevant opportunities.
- To understand demand during early access (for example, aggregate interest in an opportunity).
- To keep the service secure and prevent spam and misuse.
We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who host and operate the platform for us, or where the law requires it. We won’t share your details with a business or investor without telling you first. If SUMMIT later offers regulated services through licensed partners, we’ll explain what is shared and why before it happens.
Retention and security
We keep information while your account is active or as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. Access to data is restricted by role, and sensitive company information is only available to the audiences a business has approved.
Your choices
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop receiving updates, by contacting us. Depending on where you live, data-protection laws (such as the UAE PDPL or Saudi PDPL) may give you further rights.
Changes and contact
This is an early-access draft and will be updated as the platform develops. We’ll post changes here. For privacy questions, contact the SUMMIT team through the email address you receive communications from.
